MOVIE REVIEW FOR WEAPONS.

WARNING SPOILERS AFTER THIS LINE.

Overall I thought the movie Weapons was different and entertaining however there were some plot holes and pointless jump scares in the beginning of the movie. I would give this movie 8/10.

The director does a great job at holding your attention. There is not a dull moment in the movie that makes you fall asleep. I like that the movie shows every character point of view in the same storyline. This is a unique style of movie narration. The director took risk with throwing us viewers in the mix of all the crazy action. The camera work is exceptional. I would not say this movie is scary as a horror movie genre fan. It was more so funny at the end when the old lady was getting torn apart. The main villain which was Gladys the old woman was very creepy without her wig which she reminded me of the old Demi Moore in The Substance. The plot holes were these….

  • Why were the kids running that way?

  • How did the old lady learn to do the magic tricks?

  • Why was she doing all those magic tricks?

  • What happened to the kids at the end after the old lady died?

This movie is worth watching at least once because of how unique and entertaining it was. I would only watch this movie again with someone else. I do enjoy re watching movies.

MOVIE REVIEW FOR THE SMASHING MACHINE.

WARNING SPOILERS AFTER THIS LINE.

I honestly went into this movie thinking it would be like another one of The Rock's other movies where it feels like he plays himself but this movie truly displayed his acting talent. It was the best acting all year even Christopher Nolan told The Rock it was the best acting all year. The movie has a lot of scenes of him and his wife arguing and having normal dialogue like a real life couple. That made the movie feel realistic. The movie plot can only be told in so many ways as a fighter who trains for a match and then the match takes place. You can guess how that would go. The way the film was shot was very beautiful in a way where it reminds me of like a boudoir photoshoot. It feels personal from the viewer point of view. At the end when he loses the fight and feels accepting of it can be very relatable to how many other people feel in their life journey. Overall, I would rate the movie an 8/10. As for the acting from The Rock it'd be 10/10. Emily Blunt gets a 9/10 acting.

I would watch this movie again.

TV SHOW REVIEW FOR THE BEAST IN ME.

WARNING SPOILERS AFTER THIS LINE.

This show is one of my top shows I ever seen on Netflix. I would give 8.5/10 for the entire show overall. I am a big fan of the build up and emotions in the show. I took out a point and a half because I wanted there to be a better fight between the fbi agent and Nile Jarvis. The casting for Aggie and Nile was perfect. This is my overall review of the show. Below I will try to review individual episodes.

Episode 1 - In the first episode of The Beast In Me we see the main character Aggie Wiggs with her life in shambles because her finances are tighter, her house is falling apart, smelly place, and plumbing gone bad. She only has her dog as a companion being a divorced lesbian. I really enjoyed the display of her life being in shambles here. The first encounter with Nile Jarvis was intense especially with his two dogs making loud noises in her yard. Nile tries to get Aggie to let him build a jogging path through the woods between their properties and he comes off aggressive. I enjoyed this scene since it builds tension and shows how he has evil asshole vibes. Aggie is reluctant to signing the agreement because of his mean dogs and him being pushy. Great tension build here

The cemetery scene was Aggie showing that shes still not over her son being killed by the driver who collided with hers resulting in her son's death. This intense anger emotion kept being displayed by Aggie throughout the entire introduction almost which makes you feel her pain and low of her life. Very good story telling.

The next scene with Nile and Aggie at lunch was Nile attempting to make a fresh good start with Aggie. I really love the setting here because of the windows with water views. Im a big water view fan. This part gets really crazy and good for me because Nile breaks someone's phone randomly for taking a picture of him without his consent. You can see how he loves to take action base on anger.
