This is just a tab of me talking about what my current thoughts are on the football scene. I was really into watching NFL growing up and just started to get back into watching NFL the past year (2025). I am not really all for one team right now but if I had to pick it would probably be the Texans being my team because I am from Houston, TX.
I am a big Tom Brady fan. Yes I watched his documentary. Hes very inspiring being someone who was drafted #199 and was a fourth backup back in 2000 with the Patriots. He wanted to play for niners because he looked up to Joe Montana but they rejected him. This reminds me of that quote “not rejected but re directed.” Also watching his superbowl of the greatest comeback against Atlanta Falcons was so amazing to watch. I am also sure Tampa is forever grateful for him leading to their 2nd ever Superbowl win. He really is the GOAT playing till 45 years old with 7 superbowl wins.

A couple of thoughts on tomorrow’s AFC and NFC Championship games:
The location of each game could have a major impact on the outcome.
DENVER— the altitude does impact the players and since the Broncos practice and play in it each week their bodies adapt to the altitude better than their opponents do. Opposing teams have said their legs feel weaker in the second half of the game because they can’t get enough oxygen. The Patriots need to have a lead going into the second half because the altitude will impact their effectiveness in the second half
SEATTLE— the Seahawks fans are so loud they have gained the nickname “12th Man”. This is because there are 11 players on each team on the field during the game when the Seahawks opponents offense is on the field the crowd is so loud it’s hard for the players to hear the quarterback calling the signals. Thus it’s like the Seattle defense has an additional player or a “12th Man”. How well LA handles the crowd noise will be a factor in the outcome.

Some interesting thoughts I have before this weekend of football.
If Broncos win, will it would be with a quarterback drafted by the Patriots?
If Patriots, is it the start of a new dynasty with Drake Maye instead of Tom Brady?
If Rams or Seahawks win do more NFL teams look at acquiring veteran quarterbacks rather than trying to draft and develop talented college quarterbacks?

Right now I think Aaron Rodgers needs to retire. He has been playing for so long and is no longer the guy he thinks he is. Its looking like Travis Kelce needs to retire too. The chiefs were dominating for awhile and had back to back wins but they are mostly tired and old now. The chiefs need to re build which should not take too long because they have the best coach (Andy Reid) and best quarterback (Patrick Mahomes) in the league. Im actually surprised Texans did pretty decent this season. To see teams like Chicago, houston, and denver make to divisional round of the playoffs and traditional power teams like Philadelphia, Kansas city, and Green Bay get knocked out of the playoffs, that speaks to the fact there are more good teams in the NFL each year.
This gives fans hope in their teams even more which can be good for other teams who aren't the traditional powerhouse teams.
